Kosas Tinted Face Oil
KOSAS Tinted Face Oil
Minimalism At Its Finest
The Kosas Tinted Face Oil has been the talk of the clean and conventional beauty industry recently. Promising a flawless complexion with just a few drops while providing skin-loving ingredients is a lot to live up to.
The product is Cruelty free, Vegan, Gluten free and does not include Parabens, Silicone, Sulfate, Phthalates, Mineral Oil, PEG, or Petrolatum. Basically this is a Holy Entity in terms of ingredients. You guys know that my skin is very sensitive and reacts quite easily so before its release, I reached out to Kosas to talk shop. They very kindly sent me three samples to try to find the right color for my skin tone and to see if it would negatively impact my skin.
In this video I have swatches of shades 2, 3, and 4 on my cheek in natural lighting. I always find that testing a foundation this way makes choosing a shade much easier. The site says that if you are unsure of your shade go to the darker one. I personally liked shade 2 and find it to work quite well for my neutral undertone.
Aside from the fact that there are only ten shades, meant to cover a wide range of skin tones, I think the product is so good! The formula is LIGHTWEIGHT and BREATHABLE while maintaining a true pigment (nothing is worse than turning orange halfway through the day).
The SIX OILS of Avocado, Meadowfoam, Red Raspberry, Jojoba, Green Tea Seed, and Rosehip give it a nice glow when applying it onto the skin. It dries down to a more SKIN-LIKE FINISH but if you are oily you need to set it. My skin is dry and I do notice transfer yet it does not settle into lines so I am fine with it.
Coming in at a total of $42 USD for 1 Fl. Oz. you are definitely tracking on the lower cost of clean cosmetics. Kosas is an amazing brand and if you have the chance to get this little guy, I say go for it.
